I provide you, baby and your partner with care, understanding, information and support before, during and after birth. Our initial meeting will help me tailor my packages to fit your needs. Get in touch to find out more.
Prenatal
I offer an in-depth, full prenatal meeting near 32-37 weeks. This time together will cover questions, plan out your birth plan, stages of labor review, important details (such as planning for sibling care during labor, what to pack in bag, if hospital birth or how to set up the room, if homebirth) and suggestions for early labor. I can provide coaching for relaxation, positioning suggestions, and handouts which are helpful prenatally.
During Labor
I am on call for your birth starting at 38 weeks. I often provide early labor support, offering reminders and comfort via phone or text. When labor becomes active and steadily picks up, we find the right time for me to arrive. I offer support and continual, comforting techniques for labor and birth, working to maintain a peaceful birth environment. I stay until after baby is born, ensuring immediate postpartum support and help with baby’s first feeding. I also provide labor and birth photos.
Postnatal
We will talk or meet postpartum to process the birth together, discuss newborn care, address any newborn feeding issues. I can provide additional postpartum resources, if needed. Adjusting and transitioning at home with a newborn is an important time.
Fees
Your investment is $1,400. Payment schedule: $700 is paid as a deposit upon agreement. The remaining $700 is due by 36 weeks and this can be paid in multiple payments. Additional fees may be necessary if outside of my range, such as downtown Chicago or Wisconsin.
